

Only last Friday, they decided to close down schools and that sent a huge shock-wave throughout the entire country. The Swiss government was very lax in dealing with the issue. To put it in layman's terms without beating around the bush. I want to document the chaotic situation in Switzerland regarding the Corona virus and let people know, that the struggle is real.

The reason why I'm writing this article is simple. The only problem though, this isn't a movie. 2 medevac helicopters zipped across the lake in opposite directions it could very well be a scene from a disaster movie. I must admit, we had a moment and that moment got distorted by a sobering reality. As we commenced our stroll over the bucolic meadow overseeing Lake Zurich, we're being greeted by a mild breeze and radiant sunshine to round up this picture-perfect postcard view. High-School-Quarterback-I'm-Perfect-And-Everbody-Loves-Me for his daily walk. Since I'm recovering from a common cold, I make sure to wrap up nicely as to not catch a draft. It's around noon and I lace up my red and white Jordan Dunks which I got as a steal from a thrift store. I still have my daily chores, which thankfully, don't really interfere with much of the real, outside world. I keep my distance, maintain proper hygiene standards, basically taking precautions. We're being bombarded with the never ending barrage of news regarding the corona virus. It's a day like any other, or so it seems.
